After successfully completing the “Update ECU” application on the Body Control Module (BCM), the message “Ready” will not appear on the Instrument Cluster and it is not possible to start the electrc vehicle.
Note: It is still possible to switch the ignition on.
An error has been identified with the latest release of BCM software.
This workaround will load a software file to the Jaguar Land Rover Approved Diagnostic Equipment using the Manual Patch Update process.
This Manual Patch will stay on the JLR Approved Diagnostic Equipment.
To prevent this concern, install this manual patch to all PATHFINDER diagnostic machines.
When an update been applied to the JLR Approved Diagnostic Equipment, this Manual Patch will need to be re-applied until the permanent corrective action is delivered.
