2019 RANGE ROVER ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Adaptive Cruise Control, the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover is the way to go. The new Range Rover is standard with Cruise Control & Speed Limiter which allows you to set a maximum cruising speed to help prevent speeding tickets, but the available Adaptive Cruise Control feature takes it to the next level.
HOW DOES ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WORK?
- Adaptive Cruise Control uses sensors to detect slower-moving vehicles in front of you and observe their speed.
- When this feature is in use, it automatically adjusts your speed to keep a safe following distance from the vehicle in front of you.
- If the vehicle in front of you changes lanes or speeds ahead, Range Rover Adaptive Cruise Control adjusts back to the speed originally set on cruise control until it detects another slower-moving vehicle in front of you.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP & GO/QUEUE ASSIST
New Range Rover models that come with Adaptive Cruise Control are accompanied with Stop & Go (also called Queue Assist). See how this added technology works below:
- Stop & Go/Queue Assist is used for slow-moving heavy traffic.
- When the vehicle in front of you slows to a standstill, the system also brings your vehicle to a stop.
- When the vehicle in front of you moves forward again, gently tap the accelerator pedal and the system will move forward and maintain a safe following distance.
- The following distance can be adjusted on your steering wheel-mounted controls.

- All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) is selected.
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) or Electronic Traction Control (ETC) activates.
- The Electric Parking Brake (EPB) is applied.
- Hill Descent Control (HDC) is selected.
- When the speed limiter is in operation (when the pre-set speed limit has been reached).
