  • Front left exterior door handle power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
  • Front left exterior door handle unlock switch signal circuit short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left exterior door handle power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary

  • Front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit - One or both antenna wires short circuit to ground or shorted to each other
NOTE:

This DTC may be logged as a result of a short to power fault on another Low Frequency (LF) antenna. Before proceeding further, first perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check for any short circuit to power DTCs on other antennas. If any such faults are found, they should be resolved first. Once all short circuit to power faults on other antennas have been resolved, then continue with the diagnostic actions detailed below

  • First record, then clear the DTCs. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic system, perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check if DTCs reoccurs
  • If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit antenna wires for short circuit to ground or short to each other. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If the fault persists, install a new front cabin LF antenna
B10C9-12 Interior Front Antenna - Circuit short to battery
  • Front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit - One or both antenna wires short circuit to power
NOTE:

This fault may cause other DTCs to log on other antennas. If this DTC has logged alongside other antenna circuit fault DTCs, this short circuit to power fault should be addressed first. Once this short circuit to power fault has been resolved, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic system, perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check if any other antenna circuit DTCs reoccur

  • First record, then clear the DTCs. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic system, perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check if DTCs reoccurs
  • If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit antenna wires for short circuit to power. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If the fault persists, install a new front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna
B10C9-13 Interior Front Antenna - Circuit open
  • Front cabin Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit - One or both antenna wires open circuit, high resistance
NOTE:

This DTC may be logged as a result of a short to power fault on another Low Frequency (LF) antenna. Before proceeding further, first perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check for any short circuit to power DTCs on other antennas. If any such faults are found, they should be resolved first. Once all short circuit to power faults on other antennas have been resolved, then continue with the diagnostic actions detailed below

  • First record, then clear the DTCs. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic system, perform an on demand self-test and monitor the test output to check if DTCs reoccurs

B10CC-23 Left Front Latch Clutch Switch - Signal stuck low
  • Front left latch clutch switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left latch clutch switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new front left latch clutch switch as required
B10CD-23 Left Rear Latch Clutch Switch - Signal stuck low
  • Rear left latch clutch switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the rear left latch clutch switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new front left latch clutch switch as required
B10CE-23 Right Front Latch Clutch Switch - Signal stuck low
  • Front right latch clutch switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front right latch clutch switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new front right latch clutch switch as required
B10CF-23 Right Rear Latch Clutch Switch - Signal stuck low
  • Rear right latch clutch switch circuit - Short circuit to ground

  • If fault persists, check and install a new front right latch clutch switch as required

  • Front left lock switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left lock switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new front right latch clutch switch as required
B10D2-23 Left Rear Lock Button - Signal stuck low
  • Rear left lock switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the rear left lock switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new rear left door handle as required
B10D3-23 Right Front Lock Button - Signal stuck low
  • Front right lock switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front right lock switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new front right door handle as required
B10D4-23 Right Rear Lock Button - Signal stuck low
  • Rear right lock switch circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Switch fault
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the rear right lock switch circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTCs and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new rear right door handle as required
B113E-23 External Boot/Trunk Release switch - Signal stuck low
  • Tailgate switch circuit short circuit to ground
  • Tailgate switch stuck active
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the tailgate switch circuit for short circuit to ground
  • Check the operation of the tailgate switch
B12D5-16 Door Handle Proximity Sensor - Circuit voltage below threshold
  • Door handle proximity sensor circuit short circuit to ground
  • Exterior door handle supply voltage low
  • Remote function actuator power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
  • Remote function actuator failure
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the door handle proximity sensor circuit for short circuit to ground
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the power supply circuit to the exterior door handle circuit for circuit faults. Rectify as required
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check datalogger signal - ECU Power Supply Voltage (0xD111). Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the remote function actuator power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new remote function actuator
B1D9A-23 Customer Foot Proximity Sensor - Signal stuck low
NOTE:

This circuit/switch is available as an option

  • Hands-free tailgate sensor circuit short circuit to ground
  • Hands-free tailgate sensor fault
NOTE:

  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the hands-free tailgate sensor circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear the DTCs and retest
  • If the fault persists, install a new hands-free tailgate sensor
B1DD3-11 Left Front Door Fast Unlock/Open Actuator - Circuit short to ground

  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left door E latch motor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair harness as required. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202). Fix all related DTCs before replacing the remote function module
B1DD3-63 Left Front Door Fast Unlock/Open Actuator - Circuit/component protection time-out
  • Remote function actuator module internal failure
NOTE:

If this DTC is set, the output is disabled until reset by the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment

  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left door E latch circuit for short circuit to ground short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - Activate Release Motor (0x8003)
B1DD4-11 Left Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit short to ground
  • Door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit between positive and negative
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - Check all antennas (0x8006). If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the remote function actuator to left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit between positive and negative. Repair circuit as required
  • Clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna
B1DD4-12 Left Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit short to battery
  • Door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit short circuit to power
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - Check all antennas (0x8006). If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the remote function actuator to left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit for short circuit to power. Repair circuit as required
  • Clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna
B1DD4-13 Left Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit open
  • Door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit open circuit, high resistance
NOTE:

If any other Low Frequency (LF) antenna short circuit to power DTC is also set, perform the relevant corrective action(s) first

  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202). If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the door left Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit for open circuit, high resistance
B1DD5-11 Right Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit short to ground
  • Door right Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit between positive and negative
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - Check all antennas (0x8006). If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the remote function actuator to right Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit between positive and negative. Repair circuit as required
  • Clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new door right Low Frequency (LF) antenna
B1DD5-12 Right Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit short to battery
  • Door right Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit short circuit to power
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - Check all antennas (0x8006). If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the remote function actuator to right Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit for short circuit to power. Repair circuit as required
  • Clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new door right Low Frequency (LF) antenna
B1DD5-13 Right Doors Zone Passive Entry Transmitter - Circuit open
  • Door right Low Frequency (LF) antenna circuit open circuit, high resistance
NOTE:

If any other Low Frequency (LF) antenna short circuit to power DTC is also set, perform the relevant corrective action(s) first

  • Satellite anchor transceiver front power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
  • Satellite anchor transceiver front failure
  • Remote function actuator failure
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the LIN bus (SAT2) circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new satellite anchor transceiver front
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202). If the fault persists, install a new remote function actuator
B1DDB-55 Front Ultra Wide Band Transceiver - Not configured
  • Satellite anchor transceiver front is not configured correctly
  • Clear the DTCs and retest. If fault persists, configure the satellite anchor transceiver using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment. Clear the DTCs and retest
  • If the fault persists, install a new satellite anchor transceiver front
B1DDB-95 Front Ultra Wide Band Transceiver - Incorrect assembly
  • Car configuration file mismatch with vehicle specification
  • Incorrect satellite anchor transceiver front installed
NOTE:

After updating the car configuration file, set the ignition to on and wait 30 seconds before clearing the DTCs

  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check and update the car configuration file as necessary
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. Perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202). If the fault persists, install a new satellite anchor transceiver front
B1DDB-96 Front Ultra Wide Band Transceiver - Component internal failure
  • Satellite anchor transceiver front internal failure
