New Features:
20MY Range Rover Sport / L494
20MY Range Rover / L405
This release includes new diagnostic routines to support diagnosis of transmission concerns and are
available in ECU Functions for Transmission Control Module (TCM).
The new applications are:
 Transmission control module Total Adaption Display
 Transmission control module adaption learn
 Transmission control module pulse adaption learn
18MY > Range Rover Sport / L494 (PHEV)
18MY > Range Rover / L405 (PHEV)
This release includes new diagnostic routines to support diagnosis of High Voltage charging cooling
circuit concerns and is available in ECU Functions for Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
The application is called:
 Prime Charge Air Radiator Coolant Pump


Improvements:
20MY Range Rover Evoque / L551 (PHEV)
This release includes a change to High Voltage Power Down application. This application has now been
separated into individual candidates so that measurements can be run on the Auxiliary and Traction
circuits. These applications are available in the Service Menu.
The updated applications are now named:
 Hybrid / Electric Vehicle Power Down Application - Auxiliary
 Hybrid / Electric Vehicle Power Down Application – Traction
Bug Fixes:
18MY E-PACE / X540
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where after Update ECU for Restraints
Control Module (RCM) was completed successfully, the module was left with various Diagnostic Trouble
Codes (DTC) logged
18 - 19MY Range Rover Evoque / L538
18 - 19MY Discovery Sport / L550
This release includes updated software logic to rectify an error where Replace ECU for Telematics
Control Unit (TCU) would fail to complete successfully and display the error message ‘Audio file for
TCU has failed to update.
20MY Range Rover Evoque / L551
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where some DTC’s for TCM are
displayed in an unrecognised format.
19MY Range Rover Sport / L494 (PHEV)
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where Update ECU for Brake Booster
Module (BBM) would fail to complete successfully.
19MY Discovery / L462
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where Activate Forward Radar Service
Alignment application would fail to complete and display the message ‘CCM is not correctly aligned.
Rectify alignment as necessary’.
20MY Discovery Sport / L550
(BRAZIL ONLY)
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where no Diesel Particulate Filter
(DPF) applications were available in the Service Menu or ECU Functions for PCM.
17MY Discovery / L462
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where Replace ECU for Audio Control
Module (ACM) would fail to complete successfully

20MY Range Rover / L405
This release includes updated software logic to rectify a concern where Tire Size application does not
present and size options to select and progresses straight to the programming screen.

This release includes updated vehicle software to support Update Prior to Sale Campaign N445 - 9
Speed Automatic Transmission Fault.
Known Issues:
Manual VIN Entry for Electric Vehicles
When starting a new session on an electric vehicle that has been previously powered down, the
technician is unable to access specific test applications when there is no VCI connected to the vehicle.
Further updates on this issue will be communicated in future release notes.
Battery Support Unit [BSU] Connection Status Icon and Warning
When viewing the Home Page of PATHFINDER while in a session, the technician will see that the BSU
connection warning and connection status icon in the footer are no longer available on-screen.
Further updates on this issue will be communicated in future release notes.
Updates and Installation:
PATHFINDER will automatically prompt you to install the latest software level. This must be installed
as soon as possible.
All PATHFINDER machines must have this Software installed. Failure to have a PATHFINDER
machine operating with the latest software level may affect the machine operation, compromise
warranty claims and customer satisfaction.

Allowing PATHFINDER to be more than two software released out of date can create concerns with
disc space.
